In the north of Tajikistan Khujand group of students of military-sport school, led by their history teacher, Valery Savlukovym found a previously unknown petroglyphs in the mountains Magaltau that around Khujand.

According Savlukov, he and thirty students of the third, final course of this school went to a one-day trip and found images of horses and goats, which are supposedly drawn by ancient inhabitants of these mountains.

Historians believe that the pictures belong to the artists who lived in the first quarter - the second century BC. This means that the figures not less than three thousand years.

"Where we saw these pictures, there are no settlements. Here live only a few shepherds in clay tent. This place is different in that there are many springs and it is likely that there was an old man parking. We took pictures and going to pass them scientists from the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and Russia. Now I think in Sughd number of sites increased. Now this region of the country will become more attractive to foreign tourists, "- says Professor
